The actor Josh Duhamel reveals reasons to leave Los Angeles and live 'out of the network'


Actor Josh Duhamel leaves his house in Hollywood for a private life in the west.

The 52 -year -old actor revealed in an interview with Parade On Thursday he moved to Minnesota, where he is building a house and enjoying time with his family, including his wife Audra Mari, and his one -year -old son, Shepherd. Duhamel also has an 11 -year -old son, Axel, with his ex, Fergie of black -eyed peas.

“Part of the reason I built my place in Minnesota, deep in the forest, is eliminated from everything,” he told Parade. “The nearest store is 40 miles away. Once we get there, it's really about everyone taking care of each other: making memories, spending time with family and friends.”

He Safe shelter Star added: “You really have the opportunity to return to the basics. You are not consumed by all these other distractions. When you are out there, it's really fun, make sure everyone is hot, everyone has food and water.”

Their children love property and “they will have memories of this place forever,” he said.

Duhamel wants to spend the house to their children someday, so they can share it with their own children.

“It's really important for me to have this,” said the Transformers star. “It's not just about having all the comforts and all the luxuries we get so used to it. It really is the family. It is a legacy.”

The change has also deepened Duhamel's relationship with his parents while building his home, the actor said.

“My dad loves going out to hang out. We have spent more time together in these last five, 10 years than never growing. I'm much closer to my dad,” he explained.

The actor has previously revealed that he is not a fan of living in Hollywood, with brightness and glamor.

“I don't think I really felt comfortable with everything,” he said during an appearance in the In depth with Graham Besinger Two years ago. “It was a lot. I missed the simplicity of who I am really. I am simply not a guy who feels comfortable going to red carpets and doing all Hollywood things.”

He added: “I don't hate him, now I'm better about it, but it had really been feeling like a long time. You know Hollywood and the whole lifestyle, you can suck your life if you are not careful.”

During your interview with ParadeHe also shared where he meets ex -wife Fergie, whom he divorced in 2019. Duhamel said he considers himself a “work in progress” after his breakup. But he said that the singer is still a great part of his life since they co -organize his son, and have “very little conflict.”
