Taylor Swift applauded one of her fans for his drinking antics during a recent Eras Tour concert.

Elliott Norris recently took to Instagram to share a video of himself at the Grammy winner's concert, with text on the screen reading: “Eras is on tour but I get drunker with every era.”

The clip began with Norris shouting out Swift's first two “eras” during the concert, in which she played songs from her albums. Lover and Red. During the singer's third era, where she sang songs from her 2017 album ReputationNorris was seen with a beer in his hand and dancing to the music.

At one point, one of her friends yelled off-camera, “Elliot, come on, go gay,” prompting her to bend over and dance. As Swift performed songs from her album Folklore and Increasingly albums, offered a round of beers and mentioned that his “lazy eye was popping out” when the singer was in her 1989 was.

During the musician's last stage, in which he sang songs from his latest album, The Department of Tortured Poets – Norris danced with tears in his eyes as Swift sang the songs “So High School” and “Down Bad.”

“It looks amazing,” Norris is heard saying at the end of the video. He captioned the hilarious post: “The Eras tour was great.”

While many fans commented on the post, it was the singer herself who perhaps left the most important comment: “This has been quite a ride,” Swift wrote.

Norris responded to the comment by writing: “A big moment for me.”

Another commenter joked that there was no footage of Norris dancing to Swift's 2022 album. Midnight:”I wonder if he got to Midnight But judging by this Reel, he just didn’t.”

“Taylor would probably do it this way,” another person joked, considering fans already praised the return of “Drunk Taylor” at the 2024 Grammys after-party.

Not everyone was supportive of Norris' drinking game during the Eras Tour, however. Some people acknowledged that heavy drinkers at concerts are some of the least favorite people to be around during a show.

“I saw a video of two women being escorted off the venue for being drunk. Please don’t do that,” wrote one commenter, while another commented: “Drunk people are very annoying at concerts…”

Despite the criticism, Norris shared some more reactions to his social media interaction with Swift. The Los Angeles-based content creator reposted Swift's comment on his Instagram Story and jokingly asked the “You Need To Calm Down” singer if she'd like to grab a drink with him.

“[I] I will remain humble even with all this new fame,” he added in a separate post.

Swift recently wrapped up a run of performances in Dublin, Ireland, where her boyfriend Travis Kelce made an appearance at her third show at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, June 30.

The singer's next show will take place on Thursday, July 4 in Amsterdam at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
