A total of five Mondays will pass in the month. More information indicates that July 22 will be the day of Priti yoga, which will be observed from morning to night.

According to Nagar Vyas Pandit Kamlesh Vyas, the monsoon month will last for 29 days. The first Monday will be July 22, the second will be July 29, the third will be August 5, the fourth will be August 12 and the fifth, also the last, will be August 19. Last year, the month had eight Mondays, due to the excess of mass. While the Chaturmas period also lasted five months instead of four.

Devotees will have to observe four fasts of Mangala Gauri, three of which will be on Tuesdays. The first fast will be on July 23, the second on August 3, the third on August 6 and the fourth on August 13.

Pandit Kamlesh Vyas further mentioned that the month of Ashadha has begun and the marriage ceremonies will begin from July 15. After the Bhadalya Navami Abujh ceremony on July 15, there will be six more ceremonies this month, the Pandit added. Devshayani Ekadashi falls on July 17. For marriage, the dates of July 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are believed to be auspicious times.
