In an interview, Pandit Sanjay Upadhyay from Varanasi said that Sawan will continue till August 19, after which the month of Bhadrapada will begin. The month of Bhadrapada is also known by the name of Bhadra. The astrologer mentioned that according to the calendar, important festivals like Sawan Shivaratri, Hariyali Teej, Nag Panchami, Raksha Bandhan, Sri Krishna Janmashtami and Ekadashi fall in this month.
