Remi Bader reveals his exercise routine after stopping taking Ozempic to lose weight

Influencer Remi Bader opened up about her workout routine, more than a year after revealing she stopped using Ozempic to lose weight.

The 29-year-old took to Instagram on May 21 to share two different clips of her at the gym, documenting how her health has improved over time. “The difference of a few months focusing on my mental, emotional and physical strength,” she wrote in the text above the video.

Bader's first clip showed her struggling to do a basic exercise at the gym, while standing on one of the exercise machines. The footage ended with her shaking her head before getting off the machine.

However, he continued with his video showing how his workout routine has improved since then. The next clip showed Bader successfully doing the core exercise on the machine, as he raised his legs several times while holding on to the black handlebars.

The TikTok star went on to specify why her workout routine is meaningful to her, writing, “It's not about weight or looks, it's about putting myself first, finding myself again. Always put yourself first.”

She emphasized her message in the caption of her post, explaining that her ultimate goal is to prioritize herself.

“People come and go, so remember you only have YOU at the end of the day,” Bader wrote. “Thank you to those who always supported me in my darkest and brightest moments.”

In the comments, many fans and famous friends applauded Bader for focusing on herself and being so open about her training journey.

“I love that you are doing this for yourself. The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself,” one wrote, while another added: “Proud of you!!! “I needed this inspiration.”

Influencer Joey Zauzig also commented: “I'm so proud of you for hugging right now, it's so fun and we all need it. Enjoy the ride, I love you.”

The influencer's message about her physical and mental health comes more than a year after she said she stopped using Ozempic, a once-a-week injectable to treat type 2 diabetes that has recently been used for weight loss. During an appearance on Amanda Hirsch's show Not skinny but not fat In a January 2023 podcast, he talked about how he was prescribed the diabetes drug “before it was cool.”

“I'm almost upset because it's trendy now, when I use it for real topics,” said Bader, who has 2.3 million followers on TikTok. The model explained that her doctor had recommended she try Ozempic, shortly after it was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration in 2020, for her issues with prediabetes, insulin resistance, and weight gain.

However, he said he has mixed feelings about Ozempic because once he stopped taking it, his binges got worse.

“I saw a doctor and he said, 'It's 100 percent because you took Ozempic,' because it made me think I wasn't hungry,” he explained. “I lost some weight. “I didn't want to obsess over this long term, and I thought, 'I bet the minute I do that, I'll starve again,' and I did.”

“My binge eating got a lot worse, so I kind of blamed Ozempic,” Bader added. “Then I gained twice as much weight again.”
