Radhika Merchant looked like a ray of sunshine in an Anamika Khanna lehenga.
For her haldi ceremony, Radhika Merchant's floral jewellery and dupatta were designed by Kavita and Srishti Kapur of Floral Art.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's haldi ceremony was held on July 8 at Nita and Mukesh Ambani's home, Antilia in Mumbai.
Radhika Merchant, who looked like a ray of sunshine in yellow, was styled by celebrity fashion stylist Rhea Kapoor in a vibrant yellow embroidered lehenga set designed by couturier Anamika Khanna.
The contemporary Indian silhouette was accentuated by the elaborate and beautiful floral dupatta worn by the bride-to-be. Radhika’s ensemble included a fresh floral tagar jaal dupatta adorned with over 90 genda flowers and thousands of individual tagar kalis designed by design studio Floral Art. The accompanying jewellery, crafted from fresh white tagar kalis, included earrings, blouses embellished with tasselled strips, a double necklace, haath phool and floral kaleeras, all designed to perfectly complement the floral theme.
Describing the elaborate floral design created for the bride-to-be, Srishti Kapur, Founder of Floral Art, says, “Radhika [Merchant] The ensemble included a fresh floral Tagar Jaal dupatta adorned with over 90 genda flowers and thousands of individual Tagar kalis. The accompanying jewellery, made from fresh white Tagar kalis, yellow daisies and Thai Rui flowers, included earrings, blouses embellished with tassel laces, a double necklace, haath phool and floral kaleeras, all designed to perfectly complement the floral theme.”
Srishti adds, “Crafting Radhika’s Tagar Jaal fresh floral dupatta was a labour of love and artistry. Each flower was meticulously arranged to create a perfect cascade of tagar kalis and genda flowers, embodying timeless elegance and natural beauty. It took an entire night and our entire team of artisans to bring Rhea and Radhika’s vision to life. It was undoubtedly the most challenging and exciting 24 hours for us.”
All smiles, the bride-to-be also wore a red lehenga set designed by Anamika Khanna, featuring intricate embroidery and shimmering detailing. Taking to Instagram, Rhea Kapoor shared a series of pictures from Radhika's haldi ceremony and called the stunning bride “Luminous.” Rhea was accompanied by her styling team, which included Shereen, Sanya Kapoor and Sujata Setiya.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's haldi ceremony was a star-studded affair and was attended by Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Manushi Chhillar, Boney Kapoor, Udit Narayan, Rahul Vaidya, Arjun Kapoor, among others.
