Rachel Responds to Backlash Over Her Pride Month Video

Amid a storm of criticism and opposition, Rachel spoke out to defend her recent post and wish her dedicated audience a happy Pride Month 2024.

The famous social media personality, whose full name is Rachel Griffin Accurso, took to her Instagram page on June 2 to honor the importance of Pride, a national celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.

In the video posted, he said: “Happy Pride to all our wonderful families and friends. This month and every month I celebrate you. I'm very glad you're here. I'm so glad you are exactly who you are.

“To those who are going to comment that they can no longer watch the program because of this support, don't worry and much love in your own way. God bless you. I don't chase fame or opinions. “I stand firm in love,” Rachel added.

Unfortunately, her heartfelt message was received by flocks of online haters, including parents with children who love the former preschool teacher's silly songs and educational clips.

Despite the backlash, the 41-year-old YouTuber didn't feel the need to apologize for posting about Pride Month. In fact, Mrs. Rachel was inclined to do the opposite.

“I've shared some prayers here before and said, 'God bless you,' and that's because my faith is really important to me. And it's also one of the reasons why I love all the neighbors,” he began in a June 3 Instagram video, in response to the backlash.

Ms. Rachel referenced a specific Bible passage, Matthew 22, to establish her religious connection to the principles of Pride Month.

“I think it's mentioned eight times: 'love your neighbor,'” he continued. “So yes, everyone belongs. Everyone is welcome. Everyone is treated with empathy and respect. He does not say, 'Love every neighbor except'.”

“There are so many reasons why I stand firm in love. I am with everyone. “That's who I am and the love back and the 'God bless you' if you don't agree is genuine,” Rachel added.

In her initial post, commenters told the YouTuber that they would never let her children watch her content again, arguing that she should never have talked about Pride Month with an audience made up primarily of young children.

“Bye! You'll never be on my TV again,” one parent proclaimed forcefully, while another commented, “Sad, but it's not allowed in our house anymore.”

A third wrote: “My kids don't know what Pride is. Keep talking about rabbits, numbers and learning, Mrs. Rachel.”

“Goodbye Miss Rachel! This is not appropriate for my children,” another agreed.

daily cables Host Matt Walsh encouraged conservative parents to take Rachel's Pride message as a sign to never allow their children to interact with her content again.

“Ms. Rachel is an extremely popular YouTuber who creates content for babies and toddlers,” he wrote on X. “She just posted a video celebrating Pride Month. This is a message for conservative parents. She doesn't want your business. You must respond accordingly.”

In his follow-up video, the same commenters flooded his page. “My kids won't see you,” noted one upset viewer.

However, Rachel's loyal followers were quick to defend her against her opponents.

“Mrs. Rachel took a risk by posting this and I'm so glad she did,” one person proclaimed, while another said, “Mrs. Rachel isn't just for the little ones. It is clear that the greats also need you.”

The independent Ms Rachel has been contacted for comment.
