Prince Harry secretly returned to the UK and “reunited” with his estranged brother, Prince William, for his uncle’s funeral.

The Duke of Sussex, who turns 40 next month, reportedly sat a distance away from the heir to the throne at Lord Robert Fellowes' service in Norfolk.

Lord Fellowes, 82, died on July 29. He was married to Princess Diana's elder sister and was Queen Elizabeth II's private secretary for several years.

It is believed to be the first time the two brothers have seen each other publicly since King Charles' coronation last May.

Their meeting comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales's late-summer plans are being revealed ahead of William's return to work on September 5.

The couple took to social media to share that they are “looking forward” to watching the Paralympics.

“We look forward to another few weeks of incredible sport!” they said in a joint Twitter/X post. “We wish the best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and everyone competing at #Paris2024.”

Prince Harry's 'revealing' decision not to alter Spare

A royal expert has speculated that Prince Harry's decision not to add any new material to Replacement It is not “an olive branch.”

The book will be published for the first time in paperback on October 22.

Royal historian Tessa Dunlop told Mirror:“Those who suggest that this paperback edition, without additional material, is an olive branch are sadly mistaken.

“The new material may be conciliatory; Harry could have taken the initiative and started with a different prologue, expressing his regret at how things turned out and reiterating his good wishes for Kate and the King.”

The memoirs were first published in January 2023, ahead of King Charles' coronation and the royal family's recent health problems.

A historian has suggested that Prince Harry may have used the paperback edition of 'Spare' to send well wishes to King Charles and the Princess of Wales.
