Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are married.

According PeopleThe actress, 41, and the comedian, 41, tied the knot over the weekend during an intimate ceremony at a friend's home in New York.

A source revealed to the outlet that the only people present at the ceremony were their two-year-old son, Malcolm, and a witness to sign their marriage license.

The news comes just four months after the X-Men: Apocalypse The actress revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Munn made the announcement on Instagram, sharing images of herself sitting in a hospital bed.

“I have been diagnosed with breast cancer,” she wrote in her post. “I hope that by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support in their own journey.”

Her Instagram post also detailed the entire process of finding out she had cancer, with the actress sharing a written message explaining that she and her sister were undergoing genetic testing for 90 different cancer genes, including BRCA, the most well-known breast cancer gene.

Even though neither of them had the gene and had a normal mammogram, their doctor made the decision to calculate their Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score to see if it could still happen to them in the future.

Munn explained that her score was 37 percent and that any woman with a score above 20 needs annual mammograms and breast MRIs starting at age 30.

After Munn was sent for an MRI, ultrasound and biopsy, doctors discovered luminal B cancer in both breasts. In her post, she explained that it is an “aggressive and fast-growing cancer.”

In the post, she revealed that she underwent a double mastectomy over the next month and a total of four surgeries in the past 10 months.

“I went from feeling completely fine one day to waking up in a hospital bed after a 10-hour surgery the next day,” she wrote. “I’m lucky. We caught it early enough that I had options.”

The actress later explained in an interview with People That part of her treatment included hormone suppression therapy that ended up leading to a medically induced menopause. “I constantly think it’s hot, my hair is falling out, and I’m really tired,” she told the outlet, while describing some of her menopausal symptoms.

“Basically, I’m on a treatment to suppress all my hormones, so I’ll go into menopause and stop all hormone production in my tissues and my ovaries,” she said.People“And that is, again, more problems. But I thought that, as a woman, I can’t escape menopause. So I’d rather face it now and face it head on.”

“There is so much information and you are making very important decisions for the rest of your life,” she said. “I really tried to be prepared, but the truth is that nothing could prepare me for what I would feel, what it would be like and how I would handle it emotionally. It was much harder than I expected.”

Despite everything she had to go through and process, the actress gave a lot of credit to Mulaney for helping and supporting her.

“Without him, I would have felt like I had climbed an iceberg,” she said. “I don’t think he had a moment to himself, between being an incredibly active father and going back and forth to the hospital — taking Malcolm to the park, putting him down for a nap, driving to Cedars-Sinai, spending time with me, coming home, putting Malcolm to bed, coming back to me. And he did it all happily.”
