Your support helps us tell the story.
My recent work focusing on Latino voters in Arizona has shown me how crucial independent journalism is to giving voice to underrepresented communities.
Your support is what allows us to tell these stories and draw attention to issues that are often overlooked. Without your contribution, these voices may not be heard.
Every dollar you donate helps us continue to shed light on these critical issues in the run-up to the election and beyond.

A mother was stopped by a concerned neighbour while out for a morning jog and footage of the incident went viral.
In a sweet video shared on TikTok, novice runner Anna Grace Boswell was heading out for a morning jog — preparing for a half marathon she'd signed up for three weeks earlier — when her neighbor, Stanley, ran up to Boswell to make sure she wasn't running away from danger. She captured the hilarious moment on her front door security camera.
“HORNY,” the mother of two wrote in the caption, “Let’s protect my neighbor at all costs. I had no idea what he was running from but I was READY to help!”
The video has since garnered over 11 million views on the social media platform, with users finding the whole situation hilarious and praising Stanley for his vigilance.
“He said ‘her? Working out? No, she must be in danger,'” one person wrote. “It’s so sweet.” [though].”
“He immediately knew what the task was, but he was also confused by it,” another added.
“Stanley was ready for war,” one user commented, while another jokingly referenced the State Farm ad: “Like a good neighbor, Stanley is there.”
Boswell explained that she had recently started following a five-day-a-week workout plan. She found her new hobby to be a good way to “reset” after a long day of caring for her two young children.
“As many guessed in the comments section, I'm still relatively new to the running game,” she explained to People“I guess you can say I’m in the honeymoon phase.”
“I was surprised when he asked me if I was okay, because in my mind I looked great,” she admitted. “I was wearing my running shirt, hot pink shorts and my favorite running shoes. I felt like myself.”
He added: “It made me feel humble, for sure! But he’s such a genuine guy. I knew he only had good intentions.”
“Stanley is an amazing human being,” she said excitedly. “Even though he no longer lives across the street, I will always consider him my neighbor.”
“In these times, I think you can’t let your guard down. There’s too much at stake,” she continued. “I’m very grateful to live in an area where neighbors support each other.”
“I can’t tell you how relieved I am to know that I live in an area where my neighbors have my back, too. The world needs more Stanleys!”
After the video went viral, Boswell waited a few days before telling Stanley, but noted that he was “really nice” when she did. The pair have since filmed two more TikToks together.
