Meghan Markle told Prince William to “get your finger out of my face” during an argument about Kate Middleton, according to a new biography of the Princess of Wales.
The incident occurred after the Duchess of Sussex claimed that Kate's “baby brain” had made her forget a detail of her wedding plans.
During talks to clear the air after their honeymoon, Kate rebuked the duchess, telling her they were “not close enough for you to talk about my hormones”, before William described Meghan as “rude”.
“Meghan confronted him and said, ‘Get your finger out of my face,'” royal author Rob Jobson wrote.
“Things had definitely cooled off between them, if not worsened,” he added.
This comes amid news that Buckingham Palace has published a new set of royal values, including a commitment to “stay curious” and “help shape a better world”.
The Palace said in its annual report: “The new reign has given the royal household the opportunity to define a new expression of purpose underpinned by a renewed set of values.”

Meghan Markle told Prince William: 'Get your finger out of my face'
Meghan Markle told Prince William to “get your finger out of my face” during an argument over his treatment of the Princess of Wales.
The row erupted after Harry and Meghan returned from their honeymoon when the princess confronted the new Duchess of Sussex for saying she had “baby brain”, royal author Rob Jobson claimed in his new biography.
He wrote: “Catherine, according to Harry's memoirs Replacementconfronted Meghan about the “baby brain” comment, saying: “You talked about my hormones. We're not close enough for you to talk about my hormones.”
“Meghan was shocked, according to Harry, and said it was the way he spoke to his friends.
“William then intervened and apparently singled out Meghan and called her 'rude.'
“Meghan confronted him and said, 'Get your finger out of my face.'”
Meghan reportedly made the “baby brain” comment after Kate forgot a detail about her wedding while she was pregnant with Prince Louis.

King Charles made Prince William sign a 'waiver' after an argument
King Charles has made Prince William sign a waiver accepting the consequences of travelling with his family by helicopter, a royal source has said.
The monarch and the late Queen Elizabeth have expressed concern over William's insistence on continuing to travel with his family together, despite being direct heirs to the throne.
Royal author Rob Jobson wrote in his forthcoming biography of the Princess of Wales: “After being diagnosed with cancer, King Charles, perhaps remembering his own mortality, echoed his late mother’s concerns.
“And when William refused to stop flying with his family, Charles insisted he sign a formal document, acknowledging the risks involved and taking full responsibility for his actions.
“It would be small consolation, of course, for an unspeakable tragedy, and even more so from the perspective of King Harry and Queen Meghan…”

King Charles used Prince Andrew to send William a “direct” message
This took place on Christmas Day 2022 and again in 2023 when the Duke of York joined the royal family for their traditional walk to church at Sandringham.
Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were also welcomed by the family at Easter.
Royal author Rob Jobson speculated: “Perhaps the King is subliminally trying to show William that forgiving his brother and giving him a second chance is a strength, not a weakness.”
Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2019 following his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

New real values emphasize “value for money”
This comes amid a year that has tested the king's vision of a scaled-back monarchy amid the family's ongoing health problems.
The Royal Family has divided its new values into five key objectives: “Act with care”, “Make an impact”, “Succeed together”, “Stay curious” and “Lead by example”.
In his annual report he said: “The new reign has given the royal house the opportunity to define a new expression of purpose underpinned by a renewed set of values.”

Harry says Meghan gets 'too much attention'
Prince Harry said his wife Meghan Markle gets “too much attention” in the UK and that is why he will not bring her back to the country.
After stepping down as working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry lost the right to taxpayer-funded security.
He said of the tabloid press: “All it takes is one lone actor, one person who reads these things and acts on them. Whether it's a knife or acid, whatever, these are things that genuinely concern me.
“It is one of the reasons why I will not bring my wife back to this country.”
Meghan last appeared in public in the UK at the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.

Prince William and Queen Camilla share anxiety and fear
Queen Camilla's sister has spoken out about the Queen Consort's relationship with Prince William, saying this year has brought them closer than ever.
Annabel Elliot, 75, born Shand like her sister, explained that Camilla, 77, has never intended to be a mother to the heir to the throne.
She said: “I would say there is a respect between Camilla and William. He sees that his father is happy with a wife who loves him. He shares with Camilla the anxiety and fear of caring for and loving a spouse with cancer. That is an important common equation.
“That respect was made public during the Proclamation ceremony. [Accession Council] The day after Elizabeth II's death, William stood behind Queen Camilla and held out his hand to help her not miss a step.
“Camilla has been in William’s life for many more years than he has been in his mother’s. Camilla never tried to be a mother to William or Harry, but Charles made it clear to everyone he cared about that his relationship with Camilla was non-negotiable.”

Carole Middleton helped Kate overcome her heartbreak
“Carole Middleton acted quickly and brought her heartbroken daughter to rest in Dublin, a welcome respite from media scrutiny,” Jobson wrote.
“William, of course, just got drunk at Mahiki and started yelling that he was 'free.'
“When Catherine came back, she decided she wasn’t going to sit around moping; what was good for the goose was good for the goose.”

Why Prince William broke up with Kate Middleton
The revelation was made by Rob Jobson in his new biography of the now Princess of Wales when he detailed their brief separation in 2007.
Jobson wrote: “[William] He told her that they both needed “some space” to “find our own way” and could not promise to marry her.
“In an emotionally charged 30-minute conversation, the pair acknowledged they were on ‘different pages.’ It was a devastating blow to Catherine, who felt doubly disappointed at being dumped over the phone.
“William, of course, just got drunk at Mahiki and started yelling that he was ‘free.’”
But Kate soon won back her boyfriend of five years by wearing a nurse's outfit to a costume party where they reconciled.
