Meghan Markle's half-sister has launched a new legal battle against the Duchess of Sussex, who she says portrayed her as a “liar, racist and fame-seeker”.
Although Samantha Markle's case was initially dismissed by a judge, the 59-year-old actress is now appealing this decision.
“She has made it so that Samantha is unable to work, or even enjoy the most mundane activities, such as going to the grocery store without being harassed,” the court documents read. Sun reports.
Court documents allege the duchess falsely told Oprah Winfrey that her half-sister did not use the surname Markle until her relationship with Prince Harry became public.
The court battle comes as the duchess claims she has not even “scraped the surface” of her negative experiences within the royal family.
Meghan, 43, opened up about her struggle with suicidal thoughts in a new interview with Prince Harry.

Huw Edwards is to be removed from BBC coverage of royal events after pleading guilty to possessing indecent photographs of children, it has been reported.
The disgraced presenter, 62, played a key role in several royal events, most notably the death of the late Queen in September 2022, which received widespread praise.
