Ingredients:

  1. Raw mangoes – 2

  2. Mint leaves – 7 to 8

  3. Crushed black pepper – half a teaspoon

  4. Garlic – 7 to 8 cloves

  5. Onion – 1

  7. Green chili – according to taste

  8. Black salt – according to taste

Method to make mango rasam:

  1. First, wash the mangoes well. Then put the mangoes in a pressure cooker and wait for 4 whistles.

  2. Wait for the mangoes to cool and then remove the peel.

  3. Then use your hands to mash the pulp and remove the seeds. You can also use a mixer grinder to do this.

  4. Then put the pepper, garlic and green chilli in the blender and grind it well. You can also smash them.

  5. Now, take a pan and heat it for a while. Add 3 to 4 teaspoons of oil to the pan and add some mustard seeds and red chili to the oil for seasoning.

  6. Wait a while and then add the cumin seeds to the pan.

  7. Then add the mixed masalas and roast them well.

  8. When the masala is roasted, add the mango paste. Stir well and add salt to taste.

  9. Then add water as needed and cover the saucepan for about two minutes. When it starts to boil, turn off the gas and add the mint leaves.
