Lala Kent reveals she had her placenta encapsulated in pill form after giving birth to her second baby.
In a recent post on her Instagram Stories, the 34-year-old… Vanderpump Rules The star shared a photo of a bottle of pills, informing her followers that each capsule contained her placenta. In the text superimposed on the image, she explained why she opted to have her placenta in pill form.
“I talked about encapsulating my placenta after giving birth to Ocean,” Kent said, referring to her 3-year-old daughter. “I felt it helped me adjust postpartum and improved my overall mood.”
“I did it again with Sosa and I’m having the exact same experience,” she continued, tagging the brand she used. “This isn’t to start the ‘do it or don’t do it’ conversation. It’s simply to share my personal thoughts and experiences.”
Kent shared a series of photos on his Instagram Stories earlier this week that chronicled his daughter Ocean’s first reaction to meeting her little sister Sosa, which was very touching to watch. The series began with a black screen that read, “Ocean’s selfies after meeting Sosa…”
Ocean celebrated the arrival of the new member to his family with some very funny selfies. In four of them, Lala's eldest daughter could be seen in the corner of the screen looking down and blinking, before the last photo, in which an excited Ocean made a funny face at the camera.
“But seriously, Ocean is absolutely obsessed with Sosa,” Kent wrote on another black screen in her Stories. “It was love at first sight.”
She continued: “We are so excited for the new addition to our group. I can’t wait to share all the moments of this new chapter and blessing in our life.”
“I’ve been enjoying every second of it. Lots of skin-on-skin contact, lots of boob time, lots of staring and thanking God,” the reality TV star added.
Kent first shared the news of the newest addition to his family on September 3, announcing the exciting news on his Instagram Stories.
“Welcome to the world my love,” the mother of two wrote on the photo along with the date “9.3.24” in the bottom right corner.
However, Kent didn’t reveal her baby’s name until Sept. 9, when she shared an Instagram post featuring a black-and-white photo of her baby’s feet, nestled on a fluffy blanket. She sweetly captioned the photo with a white heart emoji and wrote her second daughter’s name: “Sosa Kent.”
