A kitten lying in the middle of a busy US highway was rescued after a Florida truck driver used his truck to stop traffic, newly released video shows.
Images from the Alachua Police Department, taken on May 12, show the small animal lying on the concrete of Northwest U.S. Highway 441 as a car passes by.
The officer picks him up and takes him to a safe place.
The department thanked the driver, from nearby Mi Apa Latin Café, for using his vehicle to assist in the rescue.
“We are thrilled to share that this little furball has found a loving forever home with one of our amazing dispatchers,” Alachua Police said.
