Following reports that the Princess of Wales had been “out and about” with her family in recent days as she continues her preventive chemotherapy treatment, some speculation has centered on when Kate will return to her official engagements.

Although some conflicting reports suggest Kate could return as early as the autumn and well into the new year, the Palace and royal experts have been keen to emphasize that no official return date has been planned.

However, according to vanity fairThe royal has recently “turned a corner” with her treatment and is feeling much better.

“It has been a huge relief that she is tolerating the medication and is actually doing much better,” the publication reported. “Of course, it has been a very challenging and worrying time. Everyone has joined her: William, her parents, her sister and her brother.”

While Kate was understood to be the driving force behind last week's historic early years project, Kate is understood to be in no rush to return to work and remains focused on recovering.

Meanwhile, the royal family's official website no longer includes a 2016 statement that Prince Harry posted in defense of his then-girlfriend, Meghan Markle. Through his press secretary, Harry had accused the media of turning their relationship into a public spectacle.

How Harry can repair his relationship with King Charles, royal source reveals

King Charles won't fix the rift with Harry and Meghan “any time soon”, says one royal, but there is a way forward for father and son.

Robert Hardman is the author of Charles III: new king, new court, the inside storywhich was published in January this year and gave an insight into the first year of the king's reign.

Speaking at the Hay Festival, Hardman suggested that Harry's explosive memoir Replacement continues to cast a long shadow over family relationships. “The problem that exists is that, at the moment, there is still an issue of trust. “People are still very hurt, particularly Prince William, because these intimate, familiar childhood moments spilled over into Harry's book,” Hardman said.

“It's not that Harry said, it's the fact that he said it and revealed so many secrets. And he, sure enough, at the time of the Queen's death, you know, was taking notes.”

Hardman also suggested that Harry had not told the full story, but there could be a cynical reason for this. “If you read that book, and like I said, it's amazing, but if you get to the part about his wedding to Meghan, it actually comes down to about four or five pages. Now, as an author, that tells me one thing and one thing only: the second part could be on the way.

Royal photographer says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding was a 'miserable day'

A royal photographer has opened up about what it was like taking the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding photos.

In a recent interview with Sun, Photographer Arthur Edwards explained that six years after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding, he can now admit that the wedding was “miserable” for him.

“That day was miserable,” Edwards told the interviewer. “Now I can tell you that it was the worst royal wedding I have ever had. Because Harry was determined to keep the newspapers away as much as possible.

The couple's wedding took place in 2018 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where Edwards noted that all photographs had to be taken remotely, which did not allow for the best working conditions.

“Everything was done with long lenses. It had an 800 millimeter lens to photograph arriving guests. The photographers they hired for the job were five feet away. It was just useless,” she said.

King Charles and Queen Camilla enjoy a 'secret' outing to see a play about family betrayal

Usually the focus is on royal family drama, but yesterday the King was able to enjoy being a spectator as he watched student actors perform a play about family betrayal.

In recent years, the Windsors have been at the center of some very public disputes, but on Tuesday night the 75-year-old was allowed to watch another dramatic story unfold.

Attending their first major public event since Rishi Sunak called a general election, Charles and Camilla visited a student performance of Beru Tessema's House Of Ife at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (Rada).

The play follows a family after the sudden death of their eldest son. The tense story sees the characters “forced to confront the traumas they have long tried to bury.”

“As the sun beats down on his north London apartment and the authoritarian head of the family arrives from Ethiopia for the funeral, tensions rise, cultures clash and past betrayals are unearthed,” the RADA website describes the production.
