Kate Middleton has hinted at a possible return to public life this weekend when Queen Camilla revealed which job she would like to take away from King Charles.
The Princess of Wales may reportedly be “considering” a surprise appearance at the King's annual birthday parade on Saturday, June 15.
This comes after she apologized in a heartfelt letter for missing the final rehearsal of Trooping the Color, known as the Colonel's Review, last weekend.
The Princess of Wales, honorary colonel of the Irish Guards, wrote: “Please pass on my apologies to the entire Regiment, however I look forward to representing you all again very soon.”
Meanwhile, during a visit to London's Garden Museum yesterday, Queen Camilla said she would like to “move away” from King Charles' patronage of the organisation.
He jokes: “I don't know how many visits I've made here, quite a few. I know my husband's boss, but I might have to nudge him, I'd like to take it away from him.

Three military horses that were let loose in central London earlier this year have been confirmed to have played a role in Trooping the Color on Saturday.
Five horses from the Home Cavalry Mounted Regiment (HCMR) were injured after being spooked by debris that fell through a plastic tunnel while carrying out an exercise in Belgravia on April 24.
Horses Tennyson, Trojan and Vanquish will take part in the King's Birthday Parade after recovering “swiftly and successfully” and showing “such fitness and enthusiasm”, the army said on Thursday.

London Garden Museum responds to Queen Camilla's offer of patronage
Queen Camilla joked yesterday that she would like to “move” King Charles away from the role of patron of the London Garden Museum.
