Santhome Cathedral Basilica: Also known as St. Thomas Cathedral Basilica, it is located in Santhome in Chennai. The church was built by the Portuguese explorer in the 16th century over the tomb of Saint Thomas. Designed in the neo-Gothic style, the church attracts visitors with its naturally lit interiors, rows of wooden benches and painted panels. This is a must visit place.

Marina Beach: If you are planning to go to Chennai, visit Marina Beach. It is one of the most beloved tourist places in the city. Located along the Bay of Bengal, the beach, with a distance of 6 km, is said to be one of the longest beaches in the country and the second largest urban beach in the world. Chennai Government Museum: Located in Egmore, Chennai, this is one of the largest and oldest museums in India. Here you can find bronze statues, historical objects discovered during excavations and also the famous Amravati Gallery.

Vivekananda House and Museum: Located opposite Marina Beach, this place has a special significance for the followers of Swami Vivekananda. The philosopher spent some of his last days here after returning from the West. The museum displays the teachings and notes of his life through photographs and artifacts.
