JoJo Siwa recently appeared on the cover of Ladygunn magazine, leaving many fans confused by her outfit.

The “Karma” singer was tagged in the Instagram post which shows her dressed in a completely gold sequined bodysuit, including a chest plate and a jockstrap while showing off her arm muscles.

“No hate, I'm honestly confused,” one comment read.

“Everything I’ve learned about Jojo Siwa has been against my will,” one person joked on X.

“It's very interesting,” wrote a third.

“Who is your current demographic?” asked a fourth.

Siwa first rose to fame in the mid-2010s when she appeared in Dancing Moms As a teenager, Siwa joined her mother, Jessalynn Sita. In 2017, Siwa signed with Nickelodeon and starred in several shows and films on the children's network before rebranding herself this year as a “daring” pop star with the release of her debut single, “Karma.”

“Her representatives are ridiculing her, I actually feel bad for her. She is very young. I really hope she realizes what all this looks like and fixes it before it is too late. They are ruining her career,” wrote one more critical commentator.

However, others saw the outfit as a symbol of her new brand.

“How about everyone can wear whatever they want?” one comment read. “How about that? Clothes have no gender. All these comments show how controlled people are by gender norms. This has to be that and that has to be that. You can’t wear that because you complain, complain, complain…”

Siwa had previously received criticism for her outfit at the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

“JoJo is a genius. An icon. A legend. And she will always be in your mind,” another person wrote. “Everyone loves to hate her but here they are literally SUPPORTING HER with their hate. Good or bad attention or opinion, she still makes money… so who is REALLY the clown here? Get it together JoJo! You rock!”

This isn't the first time Siwa has drawn criticism for her attire. Earlier this year, she attended the iHeart Radio Music Awards in the same outfit she wore in her “Karma” music video, which many fans thought she stole from KISS's iconic black-and-white makeup.

Gene Simmons of the band said: TMZ At the time she liked the outfit and anyone who didn't like it was probably “jealous” of Siwa.

“Never be ordinary. Always be extraordinary. JoJo is extraordinary and looks amazing,” the rocker told the outlet.

In an interview with E! News At the awards ceremony, Siwa admitted that the judgment was probably only coming from people who are “afraid of change.”

“People are scared of things they don’t know,” she told the outlet on the red carpet. “Things can be scary for people. New things can be very, very scary.”
