Jeff Bezos' fiancee Lauren Sánchez has subtly reacted to criticism over her outfit at Donald Trump's inauguration.

On Monday (Jan. 20), she arrived at the US Capitol rotunda alongside Amazon's CEO in a white fur coat. Once inside, she removed her cape to reveal an Alexander McQueen suit and a visible white lace bustier while opting not to wear a blouse.

The fashion statement quickly sparked outrage as many online commentators claimed it was too revealing for the political event.

Later, at Trump's inaugural ball, she was seen wearing a peach Dolce & Gabbana dress and pearl-embellished drop earrings. On Instagram, the former journalist shared snapshots in an evening dress and captioned the publication: “Starlight ball.”

While comments were limited, Sanchez did leave a few comments that specifically mentioned her outfit and praised her for the all-white outfit. She also liked the comments telling her to ignore the backlash.

“THAT GIRL,” began a comment with a fire emoji. “Don't let the haters get you down! The only opinion that matters is yours and Jeff's.”

Another commenter agreed: “You look absolutely stunning earlier today at the inauguration. You are truly an inspiration to me and I am sure to many women.”

Many people were quick to express their opinion about Sánchez's daring outfit on Monday, specifically taking to X (formerly Twitter).

“Jeff Bezos' future wife Lauren Sanchez is incredibly inappropriately dressed for an official occasion,” one post read. “Someone should have told her that showing off her white lace bra is not acceptable.”

Another person agreed, writing, “Lauren Sanchez needs to hire someone to teach her how to dress like a classy lady. Money can't buy class. Look at Melania, Ivanka and Usha, they have class.”

“Lauren Sánchez completes inappropriate clothing today. Actually a clearly visible bra. Today is NOT a nightclub event. Show some class and dignity,” a third post read.

Her outfit also sparked a viral moment when Mark Zuckerberg appeared to be staring at Sanchez's chest. I sell sunset Alum Christine Quinn mocked Meta CEO about the moment, writing: “Jeff Bezos' wife strutting around at the presidential inauguration in lingerie with her breasts raised like NASA was launching them into orbit? Top I sell sunset Season 2 energy… Nice outfit, baby, but wrong place.

“And as for our favorite Lizardman, Mark Zuckerberg, his cold, dead eyes were fixed on her cleavage as if he were trying to program his next algorithm from it. WTF is happening in America.”
