This year, the auspicious day to observe the fast is today, July 19. Married women observe this fast to get relief from problems in their married life. Also, unmarried women observe this fast to pray for a good spouse for their future.

The auspicious fasting day of Jaya Parvati Vrat began on July 18 at 8:44 PM and will continue till 9:44 PM on July 19. According to Udaya Tithi, the fasting day of Jaya Parvati Vrat will be observed on July 19. People who were planning to fast can do so on July 19.
How to perform rituals on this day?
On the day of Jaya Parvati Vrat, wake up early in the morning and take a bath. Then, perform a special puja to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati with proper rituals. You can apply a tilak of kumkum and sandalwood paste. Next, offer garlands of red or white flowers to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. You can also offer sindoor, mehndi, bangles, and turmeric to the god and goddess. Then, offer Kheer as bhog to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. This pleases the god and goddess and can help you get rid of all the problems related to your married life.
