This question often arises when people are looking for the best environment to maintain their yoga routine without compromising their comfort and health.

In today's fast-paced world, most of us try to stay fit. Be it yoga sessions or gym sessions, people have started taking fitness seriously. But with the sharp rise in mercury and the brutal heat wave, fitness sometimes takes a backseat. Relatable? Are you one of those who think that it is difficult to exercise without air conditioning? Well, you are not alone. But is it advisable to do a workout with the air conditioning on?

Well, Shikha Mehra, yoga and nutrition educator, has offered some valuable insights to help with this common concern. She advises how to practice yoga safely and comfortably during the hottest months of the year.

In a recent Instagram post, he says: “The practice space should not be too hot or too cold. Extreme temperatures can distract you and negatively affect your body. “

“Therefore, in the scorching heat of summer, moving in an air-conditioned room is much better than suffering from the heat,” he adds.

Apart from this, Shikha also shared in a previous post what is the best time to practice Yoga throughout the year.

She explains that one should practice Yoga during cool, calm periods of the day, particularly early in the morning (before or around sunrise) and late at night (at sunset). “These times are considered optimal because the environment is generally calmer and the body's natural rhythms are more conducive to practice,” she explains.
