British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, like many of us, shared his least favorite household chores in a recent interview with Grazia magazine. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy revealed that he doesn't like taking out the rubbish and cleaning the house.

In the interview, Rishi Sunak said he loves making the bed and listed it as his favorite chore. He mentioned that coming home from the office and finding a clean bed gives him a feeling of satisfaction. Akshata, on the other hand, said that she is not a morning person and that she is not in the habit of making the bed.

Rishi Sunak recalled an incident from their early days together when he found Akshata eating in bed, which he found annoying. Akshata admitted that he used to eat in his bed during his studies and the British Prime Minister seemed unhappy with his habit. During the interview, Rishi Sunak also revealed that loading the dishwasher is another task he enjoys. He mentioned that even if Akshata took care of it, he himself would happily do it.

However, the interview has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some finding it unusual to hear the UK's richest prime minister and his billionaire wife discussing household chores.

Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murthy met while studying at Stanford University and according to Akshata, her husband has been a stickler for cleanliness ever since. She also mentioned that they both prioritize cleanliness and share responsibilities, especially now that they are parents of two children. Akshata shared that she is strict when it comes to her children's school, homework, and reading, and she makes sure everything is done correctly.

In the interview, Akshata said that Rishi Sunak is a better cook. He added that due to his busy schedule he only has time on Saturday to prepare breakfast. In their free time, Rishi Sunak and Akshata enjoy watching episodes of the television series Friends before going to sleep.
