The “Queen of Life,” Paris Hilton, just threw her baby a star-studded birthday party.
On January 27, the lush-loving reality icon went all out for her one-year-old son, Phoenix, with Hollywood regulars there ready to honor little Hilton.
Titled “Sliving Under the Sea,” the Phoenix party spread on social media with videos of Hilton's backyard decorated with nautical decorations. Colorful fish and green algae balloons were placed around the patio next to coral-shaped seats. To set the mood, Disney's The little Mermaid The soundtrack sounded throughout the space.
The guest list was even more glamorous than the themed decorations. Kelly Osbourne took her 13-month-old son Sidney. Rumer Willis accompanied her nine-month-old baby, while Lance Bass brought his two-year-old twins, Alexander and Violet. Kat Von D went with her five-year-old son, Leafer, and Jessica Hart showed up alone.
“It's Phoenix's first birthday and we have the theme 'Living Under the Sea'. “I’m so excited,” Hilton, 42, said in an Instagram video. “I've thrown amazing birthday parties my entire life. So now being able to do this for my little one is a very special memory.”
Hilton then turned to her baby and said, “Are you ready for your birthday? Look, this is it for you! Watch this! Hurrah!”
The socialite, along with her husband Carter Reum, welcomed Phoenix and daughter London through a surrogate.
Both parents waited until their children were born to announce the news of their family's expansion. Hilton even waited to tell her mother about Phoenix.
During the second season of Paris in love, confessed: “My life has been so public, so open. “I just didn’t want my son to go out into the world without me being in control.”
“I'm so glad we did it that way, just so Carter and I had that trip together without the outside world intervening,” Hilton continued.
Since the birth of her children, Hilton has been more than willing to share her life as a mother with the online world. However, her followers have harshly criticized her paternity. The star recently received backlash after she posted a video of Phoenix and London during nap time. One person argued that she had too many blankets in Phoenix's crib.
One concerned parent wrote: “Paris, I love this so much! Be sure to check on safe sleep practices for your sweet babies.”
“Thank you for letting me know,” Hilton responded respectfully.
