EID AL-FIT 2025 in India: Eid Ul-Fitr, also known as Eid-Al-Fitr, is one of the largest festivals for the Muslim community. The day marks the end of the Sacred Month of Ramadan, during which Muslims observe fast from dawn to dusk, participate in charity and offer regular sentences. The first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic calendar is celebrated.

The festival is celebrated with morning prayers, exchanging gifts, wearing new clothes, giving charity to those in need, spending time with family members and celebrating with several traditional delicacies.
By celebrating EID-AL-Fit today, March 31, we have listed some traditional dishes that will make their celebrations more memorable:
Eid recipes
Pure Khurma
Sheer Khurma is a creamy vermicelli covered with dates, dry fruits and saffron. This creamy pleasure can be seen in Muslim homes during EID festivities.
- To prepare this, jump pistachos, almonds and pass in ghee.
- In another hot pan, Vermicelli roast in Ghee.
- Then, cook over low heat a little milk in a wide pan until it thickens, add sugar and cook over low heat.
- Add vermicelli roasted, dried fruits, dates and saffron to milk.
- Mix well and add the cardamom dust to the top.
- Serve cold and decorate with dates.
Biryani
Speaking of Eid, how can we forget this popular Mughlai dish? Biryani, the epitome of indulgence, has fragrant rice in layers of succulent meat and aromatic spices.
India has a wide variety of Biryani such as the Biryani chicken, Hyderabadi Biryani, Kolkata Biryani, Awadhi Cordero Biryani, Keema Biryani, Malabar Biryani fish and more.
- Cut the chicken/lamb in small pieces and marineo with yogurt mixed with some spices and ginger garlic pasta. Let it rest for a few hours.
- In a separate pan, fried onions until brown.
- Take the chicken and cook it in a pan until the color changes to light brown and then add milk.
- In another bowl, boil a little rice until it is cooked to 50 percent.
- Take a separate bowl and chicken and rice layer one by one and take it with some saffron milk.
- Keep the pot in flame low and wait until the rice is cooked.
- Serve hot with raita or come out.
Sewaiyan
Sewaiyan is another dessert served during EID festivities in Muslim homes. It is something that one cannot do without and simply cannot have enough.
- To make the sweet dish, start to roast vermicelli until it becomes dark brown.
- Take it out and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Steak dried fruits and Makhana until it becomes crispy.
- Finally, add some coconut and be careful while burning quickly.
- In a large pan, add sugar, khoya, milk and water and mix well.
- Place on the burner and stir until it reaches the first boil.
- Next, add roasted vermialics, dry fruits, the mixture of makhana coconut and cook over low heat for approximately 4-5 minutes before turning off.
- Add some cardamom dust and cover the lid. Let it rest for a few minutes.
- Serve hot and decorate with dry fruits.
Rose Sharbat
A sweet and fragrant drink made of the natural essence of roses during EID in Muslim homes. It has a delicate flowery flavor that is refreshing and relaxing.
- To make this refreshing drink, simply add flavor and pink petals in sugar syrup and mix well.
- Now add the essence of milk and pink to the mixture.
- And you are ready.
- To serve, fill 1/4 of the cup with the mixture of roses and fill the rest with cold water.
- Enjoy the cooled refreshing drink.
Lamb Chami Kabab
The EID festivities are incomplete without screwing these tasty, juicy and soft Kababs and the Shami Kebab lamb is the perfect option for this year's celebrations. Made with chopped lamb, aromatic spices and herbs, these kababs will surely tempt their taste papillae.
- After heating a little oil, add cinnamon, mace, nail, bay leaf, green cardamomas, black pepper and brown cardmome grains. Mix them well.
- Then add the Keema lamb, the red chili powder and the salt to the mixture and mix well.
- Add some chana soaked to the kema and let it cook for some time.
- After cooking the lamb and the dal, move the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes until it becomes a thick paste.
- Add some green chiles, onions and lime juice to the pasta.
- Make small paste balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- In another pan, heat a tablespoon of ghee and slightly fry the kababs until they are brown on all sides.
- Serve them hot with green chutney.
