It has been claimed that TV presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are getting divorced.
The couple, who were fired This morning In 2020, they are said to be separating after 27 years together, with a spokesperson stating that they “are in the process of divorcing.”
Langsford and Holmes, both 64, married in 2010 after 13 years together and, according to online mailthey are “determined to remain friends and keep things friendly.”
The outlet says his partner is preparing an official statement to share with his fans on social media.
It has been claimed that the breakdown of the relationship is due to work commitments that are taking their marriage “in different directions”.
The independent has contacted both Langsford and Holmes for comment.
In November 2020, the couple was “furious” after being fired This morning in favor of Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. They had presented the Friday episode of the ITV daytime series since 2006.
Langsford remained at ITV and appears regularly on loose women as host – but former GM:TV Presenter Holmes has moved to controversial channel GB News to present a breakfast show.
Holmes has three children with his first wife, Gabrielle, whom he married in 1985. Their relationship ended in 1994. He began dating Langsford two years later, but the couple kept their romance a secret out of respect for Gabrielle.
After six years together, Holmes and Langsford had a son together and, in June 2010, they married at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire.
Over the years, the couple have presented several shows together, including the ITV quiz show. wrapped gift (2014), Channel 5 How the other half lives (2015-17) and diet series Lose a stone in four weekswhich debuted on Channel 4 in 2019.

They also presented The 7 Year Itch by Eamonn and Ruth (2017) and Do the right thing with Eamonn and Ruth (2018-19).
The report comes days after Langsford spoke about Holmes' health problems after the host underwent back surgery for chronic back pain he endured for nearly two years.
Langsford told Woman's Weekly: “I don't know how much Eamonn's mobility will improve. We live in hope
“He plays the physio, but you may have to accept that this will never be 100% correct. Any caregiving situation (and there are millions of caregivers in this country) is not always easy. It's a test but we did it as a family.
“I look at Eamonn, who has had health problems and back problems, and it makes you realize how important your health is.”
