Coronation Street Legend Beverley Callard has attacked “ageist” critics of her involvement in I'm a celebrity… South Africa.
The soap star, 69, who recently joined the cast of RTÉ One. fair cityShe posted a video on Instagram saying she wanted to “moan”, describing how she faced claims she shouldn't appear on the ITV show because of her age.
“I did more than most people there, or as much as the people there. And I didn't sleep as much… Some slept all afternoon,” he said.
“Society discriminates against age, especially with women. I'm tired of that.”
