This easy no-bake Italian dessert requires very little preparation time and is the perfect chocolate dessert to serve alongside an espresso as a dipping snack. Make sure to make it well in advance, at least 4 hours, so that it has enough time to freeze completely and form a solid log. It can be made up to two days in advance. For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the rum or grappa. You can also add finely chopped nuts or dried fruit for extra texture and flavor. Serve alongside an espresso or accompanied by ice cream. With wine, it pairs very well with a full-bodied red with a spice and vanilla aroma, such as Azienda Agricola Bocale's Montefalco Sagrantino Passito.
