At the ceremony, Chirag Paswan took oath as a cabinet minister. Amidst a sea of ​​biggest names in Indian cinema and politics, Chirag stood out with his three-colour inspired attire.

The young politician is expected to continue the legacy of his father, late Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan. He won the Lok Sabha seat from Hajipur, Bihar, with over 6.14 lakh votes. He defeated his RJD rival with an impressive margin of 1.7 lakh votes. Previously, the seat was held by his late father a good eight times.

Chirag Paswan's journey in politics began more than a decade ago, after he had a brief stint in Bollywood with the film Miley Naa Miley Hum, which released in 2011. Interestingly, he starred in the film alongside Kangana Ranaut, who also searched her maid. victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
