Influencer Campbell “Pookie” Puckett has revealed she experienced a health “shortage” during her pregnancy.

The 31-year-old TikToker, who is currently expecting her first baby with husband Jett Puckett, shared an update on her physical health in a recent video posted to her TikTok. As she filmed herself applying makeup while getting ready for her ultrasound appointment, she confessed that she's been “going to the doctors more often with [her] pregnancy.”

“We had a bit of a scare and now I am going to see a specialist,” she explains. “I am not going to go into too much detail. Let’s hope everything is okay and the baby is healthy.”

Although he did not specify what the scare was, Campbell shared what he learned from the difficult experience.

“It’s so scary that there are so many different scenarios in pregnancy. This is just a reminder to not compare your pregnancy to anyone else’s,” she added. “And just trust that everything will be okay.”

Campbell then expressed how “grateful” she was to have her husband by her side throughout her pregnancy. “He’s been the best,” she said. “And I can’t wait to watch him become a dad. He’s really going to be the best dad in the world and I’m excited about that.”

Campbell shared a few more experiences she had during her pregnancy, noting that she noticed her “lips were getting bigger,” something she said her husband was “a fan of.” Campbell also confessed that while she had “had lip fillers in the past,” the way her lips looked in that video was “totally natural.”

“Everything is bigger during pregnancy: breasts, butt, legs,” she added. “I’m just accepting it.”

In the comments of the video, which has more than 1.3 million views, many fans sent her sweet messages of support and shared how they could relate to the experiences she had during her pregnancy.

“I’m praying that the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and that your sweet baby arrives safely,” one wrote. “You will be wonderful parents.”

“Pregnancy is really scary and amazing at the same time. I hope everything goes well for the rest of your pregnancy!” wrote another.

“I had to see a perinatal specialist for most of my pregnancy. Having a doctor who is on top of everything gives me a lot of peace of mind,” a third person commented. “Take it easy and be easy on yourself.”

Jett and Campbell revealed in June that they are expecting a baby. In a video shared on Campbell's social media, she and her husband walked down the stairs of a home, before he cradled her baby bump. Campbell also appeared wearing a tight dress and posing on a blanket, while her baby bump was adorned with flower petals.

Campbell's video ended with her husband hugging her from behind before noting that she will welcome their baby in November 2024. “Our biggest blessing… Baby Puckett is coming soon,” she wrote in the caption.

Talking with PeopleCampbell expressed how excited she and her partner are to become parents, noting that they have “always dreamed of it.” “Jett and I have been together for nine years, married for six, and I'm so excited to see him become a father – I've thought about it since I met him,” she explained.

In a joint statement, the couple, who have yet to reveal the sex of their baby, also added: “Our life has been building up to this moment and we couldn’t be more excited and blessed to bring another life into the world. We are ready for this next stage of our life and this new purpose as parents.”

Over the past year, Campbell and Jett have gained popularity with their viral videos about their outfits on TikTok. During most of the clips, Jett affectionately calls his wife “Pookie” and compliments her appearance. However, they came under a lot of scrutiny in January when viewers began digging into their online history, with one viral video chronicling Jett’s resume alongside a screenshot of what appeared to be her LinkedIn. Reddit users also found multiple photos from the couple’s past, including a Facebook image of Campbell posing in front of a Confederate flag.

The circulation of the photos sparked a backlash online, prompting Campbell to take to her Instagram Story to apologize and address the situation. She also defended the photos, saying she was young and naive when she took them.

“As some of you may have seen, some old photos of me have recently resurfaced,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in January. “When these photos were taken, I was 20 years old. I did not fully understand the impact of my actions as I do now, 12 years later. I fully apologize for any hurt this may have caused some people and take full responsibility.”
