Brenda Song has sweetly shared what makes her relationship with longtime partner Macaulay Culkin work.
The 36-year-old actress was full of praise for her partner, to whom she has been engaged since 2022, during an interview with E! Newswhile at the premiere of his new movie, The last choristerat the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6. She shared one of the keys to her successful relationship with the actor: “Being present” for each other.
The former Disney Channel actress also praised Culkin for being such a supportive person in her life. “I know everything is under control,” she said at the film festival, which she attended with her fiancé. “I never have to worry about anything.”
Song added: “My life became stress-free in a way, because I have someone I trust, who I know, and who knows me. And for me, that’s a support.”
Zack and Cody's group life The star then applauded Culkin for attending his film's premiere, revealing that he's not normally a fan of such star-studded events.

Song then opened up about her life off the red carpet, as she and the Home Alone The star is raising three-year-old son Dakota and a two-year-old son, whose name has not been publicly revealed. She shared that as her children get older, she has noticed how similar they are to their parents.
“It’s funny, they are a mix of both, really, they are somewhere in between,” he added. “In each of them you can find a bit of both.”
Song and Culkin began dating when they met while filming the movie. Land of changeswho dated in 2019, and got engaged in 2022. Since then, they have kept their relationship out of the spotlight, aside from a few public appearances in Hollywood.
In December, Culkin accepted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, accompanied by his family. During his acceptance speech, the actor expressed his gratitude to his wife and two children.
“I want to thank Brenda. You are absolutely everything. You are my champion. You are the only person who is happier for me today than I am,” she said. “You are not only the best woman I have ever met, you are the best person I have ever met.”
She continued: “They have given me my whole purpose, they have given me a family. After the birth of our two children, they have become my three favorite people. I love them so much.”
In June, Song also took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute to Culkin, in honor of Father's Day. In the caption, she called him “the best dad,” before describing how he does his best to prioritize his family.
“The dad who goes above and beyond every day, who is willing to do (or wear) literally anything to put a smile on one of his kids’ faces. Believe it or not, we see everything you do every day. All the big things, but especially the little things,” she said. Doll face Star wrote: “Thank you for always being our pack mule, our cook, our trash collector and doing everything that keeps this crazy train moving. I couldn’t have wished for a better partner to raise our children with or a better role model for them. We love you.”
