Billie Eilish reveals that she saved part of her look for the Golden Globes

Billie Eilish has revealed that her 2024 Golden Globes outfit was partially saved.

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter appeared at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Jan. 7 for the 81st annual Golden Globes. Eilish, accompanied by her brother Finneas, is nominated for her Barbie single titled “What Was I Made For?” On the red carpet, the Grammy winner stayed true to her signature style. She wore a look that included carefully selected items from her closet, forming an ensemble reminiscent of her personality.

in conversation with VarietyRachel Smith Before the ceremony, Eilish detailed her unique outfit. The “Lovely” artist wore an oversized dark gray jacket with a blue and white striped shirt underneath it. Without revealing where she got it from, Eilish confessed that her peplum collar attracted her to her button-down shirt.

“I saw this little necklace and I liked that it was round,” he noted.

Eilish then pointed to the navy blue ribbon tied around her neck. “And this was like a little gift I got for my birthday, which was like wrapped around a little thing and I just tied it around my neck,” Eilish proclaimed.

For bottoms, the star opted for a mid-length tan skirt that looked more like shorts — her favorite part of the outfit, which she described as a “whimsical little thing.”

“I bought them at a thrift store last year,” Eilish said, as she continued to describe her red carpet look. The creative finished her look with a spiked slicked back bun that highlighted the red tint in her hair and a pair of heeled Mary Janes with sheer red socks.

The true artist then turned attention to her brother, questioning his clothing. Juxtaposing her brother’s appearance, Finneas sported a fitted black velvet tuxedo.

He said: “I’m just wearing Giorgio Armani, which I love.”
