Bhumi Pednekar opted for a black saree with floral embroidery. She paired it with a white full-sleeved lace blouse and a layered white pearl necklace.
After a series of looks where she sported impeccable western attire, Bhumi Pednekar is now going through a saree phase. A quick look at her Instagram account reveals that the actress has been sporting the elegant saree at every event lately. She has been embracing the saree in all its forms and has been nailing each and every look. Recently, she was spotted in a black saree with unique Parsi Gara embroidery and we are in awe.
Bhumi Pednekar took to Instagram to share a series of pictures of her latest look. She recently attended an event and opted for the nine-yard black sari of elegance. The sari featured Parsi Gara floral embroidery all over. She paired the sari with a long-sleeved sheer white lace blouse. The sleeves extended into gloves and added a vintage touch to the look. She wrapped her neck with multiple layers of pearl necklace for a royal look and kept the other accessories to herself.
For makeup, Bhumi opted for a bold oxblood lip that went well with the black saree, lace and pearl detailing. She kept her base dewy and opted for soft contours. She opted for minimal eye makeup and coated her lashes with mascara. She added a pop of color to her cheeks with a cleverly applied blush that accentuated her jawline. She tied her hair back in a bun and let her saree do the talking.
This embroidery uses silk threads. The Parsi community brought this technique to India when they traded with China. The creation of a Gara sari takes between three weeks and two months. The embroidery often includes flora and fauna. The motif is meticulously stitched onto the garment to create stunning works of art.
