Chocolate Filled Donut

Ingredients:

• For the donuts:

o All-purpose flour: 550 grams

o Dry yeast: 7 grams

o Milk (warm): 175 ml

o Melted butter: 60 grams

o Egg: 1

o Sugar: 45 grams

o A pinch of salt

o Oil for frying

• For the chocolate filling:

o Cooking Cream: 60 ml

o Dark chocolate, melted: 120 grams

Instructions:

1. Heat the milk until lukewarm and add the dry yeast, let it rest for 5 minutes.

2. In a large bowl, combine sugar, butter and salt. Beat together.

3. Add the egg and beat a little more.

4. Add the yeast and milk mixture and beat again.

5. Sift in the all-purpose flour and knead the dough until smooth.

6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 2 hours.

7. Once the dough has doubled in size, roll it out to about ½ inch thick on a floured surface.

8. Cut the dough into desired shapes and transfer to a greased tray. Cover and let rest for 30-45 minutes.

9. Heat oil and fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides. Let them cool before filling.

10. For the filling, heat the cream and add the melted dark chocolate, mixing until combined. Let it cool.

11. Fill the donuts with the chocolate mixture using a pastry bag. Optionally, dip in castor sugar, cinnamon powder, or your favorite glaze.

Glazed Oatmeal Donuts

Ingredients:

• Oat flour: 1⅓ cups

• Baking powder: 2 teaspoons

• Salt: ¼ teaspoon

• Milk: ¼ cup

• Egg: 1

• Sugar: ¼ cup

• Vanilla essence: ½ teaspoon

• Refined oil: 1 tablespoon

Blueberry glaze:

• Blueberry fruit filling: ½ cup

• Water: ½ cup

• Powdered sugar: ¾ cup

• Melted butter: 2 tablespoons

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease the donut pans with oil.

2. Mix oat flour, salt and baking powder in a small bowl.

3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, sugar, vanilla and oil.

4. Combine the dry and wet ingredients.

5. Fill the donut pan ¾ full and bake for 9-10 minutes.

6. Cool the donuts to room temperature.

7. For the glaze, cook the cranberries and water until soft, then blend until smooth. Mix with melted butter and powdered sugar.

8. Dip the cooled donuts into the blueberry glaze.

Donut Waffles

Ingredients:

• All-purpose flour: 1¼ cups

• Baking soda: ½ teaspoon

• Salt: a pinch

• Egg: 1

• Grain sugar: ⅓ cup

• Buttermilk: ½ cup

• Melted butter: 2 tablespoons

• Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon

Glaze:

• Melted butter: 1 teaspoon

• Powdered sugar: 1 cup

• Milk: 3 teaspoons

• Vanilla essence: ¼ teaspoon

• Powdered sugar or sprinkles

Instructions:

1. Preheat the waffle maker to medium heat.

2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl.

3. In another bowl, beat the egg, sugar, buttermilk, melted butter and vanilla extract.

4. Combine the mixtures and transfer to a piping bag.

5. Brush waffle maker with melted butter, form dough into rings, and cook until golden brown.

6. For the glaze, whisk together the melted butter, icing sugar, vanilla essence and milk until desired consistency. Dip cooled waffle donuts into glaze and add sprinkles.
