Certified nutritionist and nutrigenomics consultant Disha Sethi has shared a healthy recipe that can be easily prepared at home.

Nowadays, people have become more cautious about what to eat and what not to eat, even when it comes to their favorite food options. So let's take a quick look at the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 makhana plate
  • 1/2 cup soaked almonds
  • 10-13 dates
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened dark chocolate
  • A handful of chocolate chips

How to do?

  • Step 1: Blend soaked almonds, dates, makhana, unsweetened dark chocolate and warm milk in a blender until smooth.
  • Step 2: Spread the blended mixture evenly in a large bowl.
  • Step 3: Top it with some chocolate chips and then place it in the freezer for 8 to 10 hours until firm.
  • Step 4: Enjoy this delicious treat after meals to satisfy your sugar cravings.

Another delicious option to try is their Makhana Rasmalai pudding recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup makhana
  • 10-12 tracks
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tablespoon kesar water
  • 1/2 tablespoon powdered brown sugar

How to do?

  • Step 1: Blend makhana, pistachios, jaggery, curd and saffron infused water into a smooth paste.
  • Step 2: Transfer the smooth mixture to a cup.
  • Step 3: To decorate, sprinkle some chopped pistachios on top. You can also water with saffron.
