AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 5, 2024: According to Drik Panchang, the Pratipada Tithi and Dwitiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha are scheduled on Monday, August 5. Shukla Pratipada is considered an inauspicious time to start any auspicious activity and falls within the timings of Ashubh Muhurta. On the contrary, Shukla Dwitiya is an auspicious time and is included in the list of timings of Shubh Muhurta. There are three festivals scheduled on this day: the third Shravan Somwar Vrat, Ishti and Chandra Darshana.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE AND MOONSET ON AUGUST 5

The sun is expected to rise at 5:45 a.m. and set at 7:09 p.m., while the moon will rise at 6:15 a.m. and set at 7:58 p.m.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR 5TH AUGUST

The Pratipada Tithi will continue till 6:03 pm, after which the Dwitiya Tithi will begin. The inauspicious Ashlesha Nakshatra is expected to prevail till 3:21 pm, and then transform into another inauspicious Magha Nakshatra. The moon will remain in Karka Rashi till 3:21 pm before shifting to Simha Rashi. Meanwhile, the sun is expected to position itself in Karka Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 5

The Brahma Muhurta is expected to take place from 4:20 to 5:03 am, followed by the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 4:41 to 5:45 am and the Vijaya Muhurta from 2:41 pm to 3:34 pm. The Godhuli Muhurta is predicted to take place from 7:09 pm to 7:30 pm, while the Abhijit Muhurta is predicted to take place between 12:00 pm and 12:54 pm. The Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is scheduled to take place from 7:09 pm to 8:13 pm. The Nishita Muhurta is scheduled to take place from 12:06 am to 12:48 am on August 6.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 5

Rahu Kalam Muhurta is expected to be celebrated from 7:25 am to 9:06 am, followed by Yamaganda Muhurta from 10:46 am to 12:27 pm and Gulikai Kalam Muhurta from 2:07 pm to 3:48 pm. Dur Muhurtam is scheduled to be celebrated from 12:54 pm to 1:47 pm and from 3:34 pm to 4:28 pm. Baana Muhurta is expected to be celebrated at Mrityu from 8:45 am to 1 pm and till evening, while Varjyam Muhurta is scheduled to be celebrated from 4:33 am to 6:18 am on August 6. Meanwhile, Ganda Moola is expected to prevail throughout the day.
