AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 27, 2024: According to Drik Panchang, the Navami and Dashami Tithi of Krishna Paksha will fall on August 26. Many people across the country will be taking part in the Dahi Handi festival today. It is a popular event celebrated in cities across Maharashtra and other parts of the country. Dahi Handi is celebrated on the next day of Krishna Janmashtami. Before starting any ritual, it is essential to check the tithi, along with the auspicious and inauspicious times.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE AND MOONSET ON AUGUST 27

Sunrise is expected to occur around 5:57 a.m., while sunset is expected at approximately 6:48 p.m. The moon is expected to rise around 12:12 p.m. on August 28 and is expected to set around 2:03 p.m.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR 27 AUGUST

Navami Tithi will be in effect till 1:33 am and then Dashami Tithi will begin. Rohini Nakshatra will remain in effect till 3:38 pm on August 27 and then it will be replaced by Mrigashirsha Nakshatra. Moon will be in Vrishabha Rashi till 3:41 am and then it will shift to Mithuna Rashi. Sun will be in Simha Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 27

On August 26, the auspicious Muhurats include Brahma Muhurta from 4:28 AM to 5:12 AM. The auspicious Abhijit Muhurat will last from 11:57 PM to 12:48 PM. Pratah Sandhya from 4:50 AM to 5:57 AM, Vijaya Muhurta from 2:31 PM to 3:22 PM, Godhuli Muhurta from 6:48 PM to 7:10 PM and Sayahna Sandhya from 6:48 PM to 7:55 PM. Also, Nishita Muhurta will occur from 12:00 AM to 12:45 AM on August 28, while Amrit Kalam will be observed between 12:28 AM and 2:03 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 27

The inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam Muhurat is scheduled from 15:35 to 05:11, Yamaganda Muhurat from 09:09 to 10:46 and Gulikai Kalam Muhurat from 12:22 to 13:59. Also, Banna Muhurat is celebrated in Mrityu till 06:00 on 28 August.
