The date of Masik Shivaratri in the month of Sharavana is considered Sawan. The entire month of Shravana is dedicated to worshipping Lord Shiva, but this day is considered extremely auspicious. TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR 2ND AUGUST
The Trayodashi Tithi will be in effect till 3:26 pm on August 2, after which the Chaturdashi Tithi will begin. The Ardra Nakshatra is expected to last till 10:59 am, followed by the Punatvasu Nakshatra. The moon will be in Mithuna Rashi till 5:41 am and then it will shift to Karka Rashi.
