AAJ KA PANCHANG, AUGUST 18, 2024: According to Drik Panchang, Chaturdashi Tithi and Purnima Tithi of Shukla Paksha are said to be celebrated on Sunday, 18th August. Shukla Chaturdashi is considered inauspicious for the start of any important activity and falls between the timings of Ashubh Muhurat. On the other hand, Shukla Purnima is considered auspicious and falls between the timings of Shubh Muhurta. No important festivals are celebrated on this day.

It is important to keep in mind the tithi, auspicious times and inauspicious times before starting any activity at home or office so that the process goes smoothly.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE AND MOONSET ON AUGUST 18

Sunrise is scheduled for 5:52 AM, while sunset is scheduled for 6:57 PM. Meanwhile, moonrise is scheduled for 6:14 PM and moonset for 5:01 AM on August 19.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR 18TH AUGUST

Chaturdashi Tithi is expected to prevail till 3:04 am (August 19), after which Purnima Tithi will commence. The fortunate Uttara Ashadha Nakshatra is predicted to continue till 10:15 am, followed by the commencement of another favourable Shravana Nakshatra. The moon will be in Makara Rashi (Capricorn), while the sun is expected to continue in its position in Simha Rashi (Leo).

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 18

The Brahma Muhurta is expected to be celebrated between 4:25 am and 5:08 am, followed by the Pratah Sandhya Muhurta between 4:47 am and 5:52 am. The Vijaya Muhurta is expected to be celebrated between 2:36 pm and 3:28 pm. The Amrit Kalam Muhurta is expected to be celebrated between 10:40 pm and 12:08 pm (August 19), while the Nishita Muhurta is expected to be celebrated between 12:03 am and 12:47 am on August 19. The Godhuli Muhurta is expected to be celebrated between 6:57 pm and 7:19 pm, while the Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is also scheduled to be celebrated between 6:57 pm and 8:03 pm.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR AUGUST 18

The Yamaganda Muhurta will take place from 12:25 pm to 2:03 pm, followed by the Gulikai Kalam Muhurta from 3:41 pm to 5:19 pm, and the Rahu Kalam Muhurta from 5:19 pm to 6:57 pm. The Dur Muhurta is scheduled to take place from 5:13 pm to 6:05 pm. The Baana Muhurta is expected to take place in Mrityu till 9:50 pm, after which Agni will follow throughout the night.
