AAJ KA PANCHANG, 7 JULY 2024: According to Drik Panchang, July 7 marks the Dwitiya and Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha. The famous Puri Rath Yatra is celebrated on this day. It is an annual Hindu celebration held at the famous Jagannatha Temple in Puri, Odisha and in various parts of the country. The festival honours Lord Jagannatha, his brother Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra. It is advisable to check the tithi, as well as the auspicious and inauspicious hours, before undertaking any activity. The sun will rise at 5:29 am and set around 7:23 pm The moon is expected to rise at 6:26 am and set at 8:49 pm

TITHI, NAKSHATRA AND RASHI DETAILS FOR JULY 7

The Dwitiya Tithi will continue till 4:59 am on July 8, after which it will move on to Tritiya Tithi. The Pushya Nakshatra will be visible throughout the night on July 7. According to the Panchang, the moon will be located in the Karka Rashi and the sun in the Mithuna Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR 7TH JULY

As for the auspicious timings of the day, the Brahma muhurta is scheduled from 4:09 AM to 4:49 AM. The auspicious Abhijit Muhurta will last from 11:58 AM to 12:54 PM. The Godhuli muhurat is scheduled between 7:21 PM to 7:42 PM, and the Vijaya muhurta from 2:45 PM to 3:40 PM. The Sayahna Sandhya muhurta will last from 7:23 PM to 8:23 PM, while the Pratah Sandhya muhurta is scheduled from 4:29 AM to 5:29 AM. Lastly, the Amrit Kalam muhurat is scheduled from 11:19 PM to 1:00 AM on July 8.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR JULY 9

The ashubh muhurat or inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam is predicted to last from 5:39 pm to 7:23 pm; Gulikai Kalam is scheduled to occur between 3:54 pm and 5:39 pm; while Yamaganda muhurta is predicted to take effect from 12:26 pm to 2:10 pm; and Baana muhurta is scheduled to occur in Raja from 2:10 am on July 8.
