Ingredients needed:

Onion – 1.5 cup

Garlic cloves – 1/2 cup

Curry leaves

Urad Dal – 1/4 cup (soak for 30 minutes)

Mustard – 1 tablespoon

Cumin – 1 tablespoon

Fenugreek – 1/2 tablespoon

Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon

Turmeric – 1 tablespoon

Salt – as needed

Castor oil – 2 tablespoons

Cooking oil – for frying

Recipe:

Step 1: Peel the onion, wash and dry it well. Then finely chop the onion, garlic and curry leaves and mix them together.

Step 2: Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, salt and red chili powder and mix well with your hands.

Step 3: Next, grind the soaked urad dal in a blender.

Step 4: Now, add it to the onion mixture and mix it well. Take the mixture in a small section and form lemon-sized balls. Dry the balls in the sun for a few days until they are completely dry.

Step 5: Store the balls in an airtight container.

Step 6: Whenever you need it, you can take a small piece, fry it in oil until golden and add it to your dishes to give it more flavor.
