Thank you for your support, here's how to connect with us.

When Becky Quick announced the CNBC Cures initiative, our effort to raise awareness about rare diseases and improve the lives of the 30 million people living with them, we knew the response would be big. We didn't know it would be so big. The response has been surprising, overwhelming and humbling.

Thank you for your interest and for the great support of what we are doing. The mission of CNBC Cures is personal to me. Not only because I've spent the last few months helping launch this platform, but because Becky's story is mine too. Becky is my sister. Kaylie is my niece and my goddaughter. The fact that people care about this means a lot to both of us.

We've received hundreds of messages from groups asking how they can help support Cures, and we've heard from many companies interested in sharing their efforts in the rare disease space. But the most important thing is that we have heard from you. Our inboxes have been flooded with emails from viewers and readers who want to share their story… people who want to tell us how their lives have been affected by rare diseases. In just a few days since we announced Cures, thousands of people have already subscribed to the newsletter. We have also heard from people who simply want to help us raise awareness about rare diseases, ask where they can send donations, or volunteer their time and support for this effort.

We appreciate it all. We are incredibly grateful for your interest in CNBC Cures. If you would like to share your story or discuss opportunities on how you can get involved with CNBC Cures, please email us at [email protected].

May the support continue to come. It's proof that people care about rare diseases and that there is an audience for this type of content. We read your messages, respond when we can, and use them as inspiration for our stories.

Tell your friends and family about CNBC Cures. Help us expand our coverage of rare diseases. Let's show the world that these issues matter.
