Dr. Mehmet Oz, nominated for President Donald Trump to supervise the Medicare and Medicaid Services Center, there may be “bad” paid under Medicare's taxes and Social Security in recent years, according to a memorandum of the Democratic personnel of the Senate Finance Committee obtained by NBC News.

Christopher Krepioch, Oz spokesman, told NBC News in a statement in response to the memorandum: “The Government Ethics Office has made an extensive review of Dr. Oz's finances as part of the regular investigation process. OGE has transmitted a letter to the Senate that indicates that any possible conflict has resolved and that is in compliance with the law.”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
Oz, the personality of television and surgeon, will appear before the Senate Finance Committee for a confirmation hearing on his nomination on Friday, the president of the panel, Senator Mike Crapo, R-ID, did not immediately respond to a request for comments on the memorandum.
