Kali Uchis and Karol G announce collaboration just in time for Thanksgiving

Kali Uchis will release her new song, “Labios Mordidos,” with Karol G, on Thanksgiving Day, as announced through her Instagram.

Uchis performed a snippet of the song earlier this year at Lollapaloza Brazil.

On Sunday night, part of the song was also performed by Karol G at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in a striking setting inside a shallow pool of water.

This is the couple’s second musical collaboration, three months after the release of their first song, “Me Tengo Que Ir,” which appeared on Karol G’s album “Mañana Se Bonito (Bichota Season).”

“Labios Mordidos” will be part of Uchi’s upcoming album, “Orquídeas,” which will be released on January 12.

With this new Spanish album, Uchis hopes to “redefine the way we look at Latinas in music,” drawing inspiration from the “timeless, haunting, mystical, eye-catching, elegant and sensual charm of the orchid,” the natural flower of Colombia. . , he stated in a press release last month.
