Joaquin Phoenix will return to theaters with the sequel to his Oscar-winning film, Joker.
Joker: Folie à Deux Set to hit theaters on October 4, 2024, director Todd Phillips will offer film lovers a look at the second part.
On his Instagram, the filmmaker shared a new look of Joaquín standing in the rain surrounded by colorful umbrellas.
He thanked the audience for their messages of support and wrote: “Four years ago we had a great trip. Many good memories. More to come.”
Throughout the year, Todd has been teasing his followers with images from the set that also included a close-up of Joaquin pinning Lady Gaga, who will play the role of Harley Quinn, to the wall.
Previously, Todd also shared solo shots of Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix in their outfits while announcing the shoot’s wrap-up. Joker: Folie à Deux.
Todd wrote in the caption: “That’s a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST team the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom. “Now I’m going to go into a cave (editing room) and put it all together.”
