Improve your performance and earn rewards in Fortnite, CS2, and Overwatch Perion Labs introduces the new XP (NASDAQ:).GG), a gaming platform that allows players to earn rewards for improving at their favorite games. XP.GG features a universal Battle Pass integrated across all XP.GG games. XP.GG launches August 1 with Fortnite. Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch competitions will begin in late August, with more games added each month.
“XP.GG empowers players to improve and earn rewards by playing the games they already love,” said Amos Whitewolf, Co-Founder of Perion and CTO of XP.GG. “The more levels players unlock, the more rewards they earn and the greater the chances to win thousands of dollars in weekly prizes. We can’t wait to introduce players to our Universal Battle Pass across all XP.GG games, giving them the chance to earn real-world rewards for improving.”
The new XP.GG and Battle Pass Season 0 launch on August 1st with Fortnite. Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch competitions will begin in late August. More top-tier game titles will be released including League of Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, Apex Legends, Mobile Legends, Pub G, and AAA web3 games like Shrapnel. Perion has partnered with game developers and esports teams like Talon esports and GIANTX to ensure a robust selection of games.
A universal battle pass that rewards players
Players can take on challenges in their favorite games designed to hone their skills and, in return, level up their Universal Battle Pass. Season 0 prizes include a $6,000 gaming PC, a Fortnite-themed Secret Labs gaming chair, a PS5, a $1,000 CS2 knife, and more, worth over $10,000 in total. Prizes will increase in value each Season as more players get good and earn rewards.
“Every victory in XP.GG brings more than just glory; it brings tangible rewards across all the games you already play,” Amos added. “So earning rewards becomes a game in itself, on top of the challenge of being good at the games you love.”
XP.GG: Player Tested, Player Approved
Perion Lab’s team of gamers launched a prototype of XP.GG in early 2024 to find out what gamers really wanted from a gaming platform. Rewards started out as small as a few hundred VBucks, then scaled up to gaming consoles. The overwhelming result after thousands of hours of gameplay: gamers want rewards for getting good at the games they already love to play.
“That’s exactly what we’ve built,” said Mitch Penman-Allen, co-founder of Perion Labs and chief strategy officer at XP.GG. “Using insights from months of testing, we’ve built the first comprehensive rewards layer that allows all players to access real rewards for improving at the games they already play.”
Season 0 starts now
Players can visit XP.GG starting August 1 to sign up and start earning rewards with Season 0 of the Fortnite XP Battle Pass. Later in August, Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch competitions will begin.
Season 0 includes a special multiplier, where players who reach Tier 5 on their Battle Pass will be eligible to receive a Battle Pass accessory for subsequent seasons. Reaching Tier 5 in Season 0 grants a 5% multiplier accessory in Season 1, Tier 10 grants a 10% multiplier accessory, and so on. Each Season Accessory will reset and carry over the bonus earned from the previous Season for anyone who logs in and reaches Tier 5 in Season 0.
“The Universal Battle Pass and more opportunities to level up and earn rewards start NOW,” added Jan Hartmann, Co-Founder of Perion and CEO of XP.GG. “And stay tuned for more games and even bigger prizes on XP.GG in the coming months!”
