United Airlines He reached a tentative labor agreement “leader of the industry” for its 28,000 hostesses, said its union on Friday.
The agreement includes “40% of the total economic improvements” in the first year and retroactive salary, a signature bonus and improvements in quality of life, such as a better programming and guard time, said the Association of Flight-CWA atverts.
The union did not provide more details about the agreement.
United Housing have not had an increase since 2020.
The members of the cabin crew voted last year to authorize the union to attack if an agreement was not reached. They had also sought federal mediation in negotiations.
The United States flight attendees have pressed salary increases for years after pilots and other working groups obtained new job agreements following the pandemic. United is the last of the main US operators in making an agreement with their hostesses.
The agreement must still face a vote from the hostesses, and the language of the contract will be ended in the next few days, United said.
