In an X thread on Sept. 3, fintech giant Ripple shared several major announcements, one of them covering a recent partnership by AI and Metaverse technology company Futureverse with Ripple Custody. The partnership aims to ensure the secure management of Futureverse’s assets. As stated in the announcement, the firm has already adopted the XRPL NFT standard, using XRP as a gas token on the root network, and is integrated with XRPL DEX to supply liquidity to the network. The post caught the attention of Ripple president Monica Long, who praised Futureverse’s move, stating that custody remains a critical entry point for tokenization. “Everyone from big banks to crypto natives needs secure, compliant infrastructure to power enterprise use cases. I’m excited to further our partnership with futureverse,” Long wrote.

Binance to list four major cryptocurrency pairs

Yesterday, September 3, cryptocurrency exchange Binance issued a notice regarding the listing of four major trading pairs. The decision to open trading for the pairs was made in order to “expand the list of trading options offered on Binance Spot and improve users’ trading experience.” As stated in the notice, Binance will launch AAVE/USDC, STMX/TRY, SUN/TRY, and spot trading pairs at 8:00 am (UTC) on September 4, 2024. In addition, Binance will enable Trading Bots services for the following trading pairs at 8:00 am (UTC) on September 4, 2024: spot grid, spot DCA (cost averaging), smart positions: DOGS/USDT, RENDER/USDT, REZ/USDT, ZK/USDT, and ZRO/USDT. Spot algorithmic orders for AAVE/USDC, STMX/TRY, SUN/TRY and TRX/USDC will also be enabled.

Meanwhile, cryptocurrency tracker @spotonchain reports that a cryptocurrency whale acquired 1,100 BTC on the Binance trading platform.
