Goldberg said he hopes that the growth of female basketball and football will help pay attention to other women's sports.

“We started seeing the incredible basketball playing, and I think that more people said: 'Hey, I want to see more of that.' What other sports are the women we don't know?” I want it because women are doing it. “

Chung said Vizio currently reaches 20 million televisions and, in the next three to four months, AWSN hopes to be available on 100 million devices in the United States.

Goldberg acknowledged that he faced some initial resistance in the launch of the network, but once he met Chung, his goals aligned.

“I like a good commercial proposal, and I want this to happen far beyond my life. I want it to be as known as ABC, NBC or CBS,” he said.
