Ripple CTO Provides 'Absolute Proof' He's Not Satoshi by U.Today

U.Today – Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz has posted two photos from what appears to be the major annual crypto event, Consensus2024. One of them is a selfie with the formerly popular crypto blogger known as BitBoy.

“Absolute proof that I am not Satoshi”: Ripple CTO

The title of the other says that this is “absolute proof” that he is not Satoshi Nakamoto and that he did not create the world's leading cryptocurrency, as many within the crypto community still assume. In this photo, Ripple's CTO is standing next to a guy wearing a glowing mask and looks like someone who prefers to remain anonymous, like Satoshi Nakamoto.

On May 29, Schwartz took to his X account to announce that during this blockchain conference he and EasyA app co-founder Phil Kwok will reveal Ripple's vision and roadmap for institutional DeFi on the XRP Ledger.

Additionally, according to a previous tweet from Ripple Labs, Schwartz was planning to give a public talk on multi-chain interoperability, EVM programmability, RWA tokenization, and many other important topics.

Recently, Ripple's CTO made an important statement for the XRP community: he confessed that he never got rid of any XRP to buy other cryptocurrencies. However, he dumped Bitcoin to buy more XRP and ETH.

Schwartz continues to refute Satoshi's accusations

David Schwartz, a crypto expert, is known as one of the creators of the XRP Ledger, along with Jed McCaleb and Arthur Britto. He is one of the prominent figures in the blockchain space believed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Among them is also the founder and CEO of Blockstream, the cypherpunk Adam Back, although both have been dispelling these rumors incessantly.

The last time Schwartz found himself doing that was in early May, when Ripple's top executive tweeted that this idea that he was the founder of Bitcoin is “not true, but plausible.” The reason he gave this time for refuting the allegations is that he does not know Qt, a popular software development tool that was used in the Bitcoin code.

Some members of the crypto community also believe that Nik Bougalis, former director of engineering at Ripple, is Nakamoto. Schwartz mentioned that Bougalis knows Qt, but still, “not true but plausible,” Schwartz tweeted.
